What kind of led lights are yAll running on your floundering/bowfishing setups. Looking to get away from running a generator in the boat, to much noise for me and you can't hear the game warden sneeking up on you.

I bought these off ebay for my catfishing. its pretty bright and uses 18watts. I mounted one to a magnet with a cigarette lighter plug and so far it has lasted 4hrs. without my truck battery going dead. I paid $22. for two on ebay and when I recieved them they seemed to be higher quality than I thought they would be.

I have 3 27w on mine with one being underwater. I'm currently building 4 small underwater 50s to add to mine. Just completed 2 a few minutes ago.

Josh ran 5 of the same 27s I have on his old boat but he has 4x50s on the new one. All these setups will run most of the night on one battery. We get into the second battery on long nights.

The 27s are just over 2100 lumens and the 50s are 4-5k depending.

the 27s

The 27s can be had for 16to20$ a piece on amazon if you look around. If you want the 50s go through aliexpress...that price above is beyond retarded.

Thanks TC. Do the 27s cut through the murky water we have around the causeway.

165,000 Lumens. I'll put up with a little Yamaha genny putting in the background. I can talk on the phone next to it with all 3 lights on.

Awesome rig. I wouldn't mind getting some HPS but for what little gigging I do the LED's are good so far.

LOL we used to take a 12 volt bulb with a screw in base like you use at the house, grease the threads with waterproof grease and hook it up to a 12 volt battery. If you remember to wait until you stick it under the water to turn it on it worked fine. If you turned it on and then stuck it under the water you best have a spare because it would bust the bulb. That gave a good illumination of the bottom for Floundering and crabing, or if hung off the dock it would sttract fish. Old tech but it worked.
