Hey guys I'm at Children's with my 5 year old with an accidental overdose. My wife was getting our autistic son med's ready before bed time and she accidently gave some to our little girl. She is going to be fine but we may need to spend the night so they can watch her. My wife is very upset with herself. We have been giving our son meds since he was three and my wife zoned out. Please say a prayer for both of them.

My wife did something similar when my daughter was about 3. We had a bottle of prescription cough syrup for my daughter and a bottle for us. The bottles looked very similar and when my wife got up in the middle of the night she gave my daughter an adult dose of adult codeine cough syrup. Spent half the night in the ER but everything turned out fine. Mistakes happen. Prayers for you, your wife, and your daughter.
