My traeger has been great but I like change every now and then. So give me your opinions on a BGE or Kamodo?? I'll make somebody around Decatur a heck of a deal on a traeger if they'd like one.

KJ will be cheaper but they will both do the exact same job. You will love either one and become a great cook.

Decatur is a little ride from guntersville, but I may be interested. I've been looking for a used one.

I own a BGE but if I ever purchase another ceramic type grill I would rather it be a Kamado Joe. They had some for sale at Costco for a special time offer and I was able to talk to learn about them from the company rep.
Way less expensive and seemed to be at least equal or better quality than the egg.

I have one of each. I have had my BGE for 15 years and it has been great. I have had to replace the fire box and the handle. The firebox 14 years after purchase was replaced under warranty. That is great customer service. I do not have a single complaint about my BGE. My wife bought me a Komodo Joe for our anniversary in November. So far it has been as good as my BGE. The big difference is that when you buy a KJ you get all the accessories included, which you will have to buy separately with the BGE.

I have a Primo XL. I've eaten food off of a BGE and there's no difference except for the price.

I have a large BGE, and my advice if you buy one is to get the extra large size regardless of brand. They really don't use much more charcoal, but the extra cooking space would be nice. The large fills up fast.
