Anyone have a safe or wood gun cabinet they would be interested in selling? My Lil boy has gotten pretty mobile now that he is almost 2 and is in to everything. Don't feel safe with my rifles in there plastic gun guard cases under the bed anymore. They are never loaded but the wife wants them locked up.

Buy a safe. My dad builds cabinets but every one he sales he tells the customer. You know this is just a display for a thief.

I have a wooden gun cabinet I am not using. Holds six guns and has a bottom cabinet that locks also.

Go buy one @ Tractor Supply. Winchester makes a really good safe. They run around 550 - 600
I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern

If theft is an issue then you will need to spend hundreds and preferably get one that you can bold to the foundation of your home. If you are simply looking for a way to prevent your young son from getting into your guns then a Sentinel or Stack-On cabinet will suffice and cost $120 to $150 new at Wally World. Yes, A thief will take a crowbar and pry it open in 20 seconds but in some cases that doesn't matter. I bought a Sentinel ($100 off craigslist) and a Stack-On ($130 homedepot.com) for my closet. I just wanted to store my guns away from my grand children. If a thief cracks it open then fine, I'll already be dead because he will have already gained entrance into the house, into out bedroom, then past me and my 9mm I have hidden
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...

One of my renters has a Field & Stream (I think) safe that he is wanting to sell. He said a new one was $279 and he wants $125 (I think) for it. He said he thought it would hold 12 guns.
If you are interested I can get you his info.
