I'm thinking of purchasing a cross bow to hunt with. What do the cross bow experts on Aldeer recommend? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

if you have plenty of money, go with Ten point, they also make Wicked Ridge, less expensive but excellent quality. Buddy of mine has a fairly new Barnett that is deadly accurate. Try it before you buy it!

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Crossbow variations are worse than variations in rifle brands. They all feel different. Basspro has a bunch of em to hold and look at. Not the top of the line or fastest FPS but because of its ergonomics and how it felt when holding I ended up going with a Parker.

X1000. A used Exomax should run about 400-500 and will get the job done. No pulleys to mess with.

Excalibur. Very simple. Accurate and fast.

Lots of great crossbows on the market to choose from these days. I had a Tenpoint and absolutely loved it. It was extremely well made and plenty fast. I sold it last year and made the jump to a compound bow and have no regrets.

Why are recurve crossbows more expensive? I like the light weight of them?

Is the Excalibur the one that can be uncocked. I Hate having to shoot a bolt with my Barnett.
