We hire folks at the pulp mill I work at all the time,about 1 in 5 don't make it,we start out at $16/hr and within a couple of months they go to $22/hr,if they half ass try and get into the right departments they can be making $80-$120k in a few years,top operator jobs are $35-$38/hr with all the overtime you can stand,some of these folks come from pretty shitty jobs and step into a good one and just do not apply themselves at all or lay out of work,it's like they don't want to better themselves and could care less if they get fired,there's just no kind of work ethic for these younger guys now days
