They are comfortable but if you get it over 10ft remember it doesn't have a platform or rail around it so you are just kinda hanging out up there in the air on a chair. I have sat in one a couple times, 10ft and it was down wind and higher elevation than where I was watching. It was there because all the pines were too small to hang a stand or build a shooting house just yet. You need something behind you or place it where there is cover around you. Usually when you get to needing over 10ft you could just hang a regular ladder stand because the trees are starting to get a bit bigger.


I like it but I would suggest making sure your setup really dictates the need for a portable tripod. Meaning you could probably pick up 2 regular tripods with a little better setup/platform, etc. for the same money. I think what makes that one really great is that it is portable.
