Ive watch 6 bucks since July and now almost all have shed their velvet....only two of the smaller buck are still hanging on
The first on i saw that had shed was early last week

I got pics of a young buck yesterday with velvet hanging off his horns. If I didnt know better, I would swear some of our nannies are still prego. Ive seen fawns. A month ago the does that had dropped were pretty poor but they all seem to have fattened back up. Seeing fat does this time of year is justa little odd I guess. Must just be plenty to eat.
