Opossums are tick eating machines. I never chase one off if I find it hanging around my house.

Ran some normal errands today and went by the
farm to drop off some fish parts from filleting fish.
Was never in the actual woods, but a clear area
at the end of a road.
Went to the barn to wash cooler and water some
grass.
Been home a couple of hours and just pulled 3
ticks off of me.
This stuff may get ridiculous before the end of the
summer.
May start using permethrin every morning, now.

If you use permethrin it can be toxic to cats. Didn’t know if you had any.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

I remember sitting in church at 12 years of age and finding a tick on me. I gave it a good flick and then had to watch it crawl up a guys shoulder two pews in front of me. never told anyone that.
