Grove peppers are generally around 50 to 100K on the Scoville scale. Close to the same as a cayenne or or thai chili, but not quite as hot as a scotch bonnet pepper. They are kinda in between the jalapeno and the habanero.

Sweet banana peppers. Can't do spicy hot.

I like some heat, nothing crazy, but I like some dice jalapenos on my tacos or salsa. I use a can or two of chipoltes en adobo every week putting on various things I cook. Heck, sometimes I use it to dip sandwich meat in, etc.
I bought a bunch of hatch chilies a few years ago and really miss the mild flavor of those beauties. I realize you can get hotter varieties, but I put that stuff on everything.

To actually eat the pepper: jalapenos.
My wife does make some Habanero Jelly that is fine as frog hair with cream cheese and wheat thins.

I ate a Butch T reaper whole a couple of years ago. NEVER AGAIN. Hit as you can imagine for ten minutes. Then upset stomach and belching flames the rest of the day. It really got bad the next morning when I began the first of the three S morning routine.

I’ve eaten chicken wings that were at 1.2 million scovilles and I’ll never do anything that stupid again. It’s just not enjoyable to go over jalapeños.... I’m not even talking about how spicy it is but the fact that it has to exit somehow. I’ve got the hottest hot sauce in the world, it’s right at 1.4 million scovilles. Just touching your tongue to the lid causes pain for hours. Yeah... to heck with that crap.

Jalapeno is as far as I go as well. I like the flavor of a pepper but have never understood the people who just want them so hot they scald your mouth. Intense burning is not a flavor nor do I find it enjoyable. Don't care to have to drink a gallon of tea to get a meal down either.
