This is the truth!!! Look at the amount of dialysis centers that’s popped up in the last 10 years.

It’s a shame how expensive it is for insurance now. I really hate to hear what people are paying for healthcare. It’s not right. I’m lucky enough to pay under $400 for family. I can remember when I was paying $9 a week for single coverage and $20 co pays. Something needs to change for sure!

If "the government" clamps down on the chitty fast food industry they're harming business and if they demand citizens not eat chitty food they're infringing on our rights.

If the government does nothing — which A LOT of people say they want, "less government," — then they're "wanting" Americans to live shorter lives and are enabling Big Pharma.

Can't have it both ways.

Ultimately the decision about personal health is on each individual. "The governement" isn't making citizens make stupid decisions about what they eat, whether they're exercising and sleeping correctly, or whatever. All that is on the individual.

Not just NO but HELL NAW!!! There are so many better options than a single payer system, I know it sounds good but it isn't, I for one don't want some .gov lackey deciding if I really need surgery for something or just a pain pill, They could fix the healthcare system tomorrow if they had the balls to go against big pharma and the insurance companies..... It will never happen and we will end up with a single payer system, i hope I never see the day but it will happen sooner or later..

^^^^ THIS!

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

If the government would get COMPLETELY out of healthcare, with price controls, CONs , and other regulations, and let the market pressures work, prices would come down. There is no market competition due to the intrusion of government regulations. Its a socialist system, and has been for decades.

Every time the government steps in and adds more control and regulations, prices go up.

We should be able to buy insurance across state lines. Blue Cross has a stranglehold on us here in Alabama.

Our BCBS has went on physical therapy in five years from 0 deductible to 500 to now 2800 I believe. My son since it has went to this has torn a labrum and about a month ago his elbow. So it’s basically like having no insurance. He had an MRI done about 1 month ago and we payed a 350 deductible up front. I got the blue cross letter I. The mail yesterday. It was like 3399 total and the second line said blue cross negotiated like 2900 off and the 3rd line said they paid the provide 0. The next line said we owed the provider like 347. They didn’t pay a damn dime. And I thought the 350 deductible was our part up front. And if others are going through what we have with the PT I don’t see why doctors are even prescribing it anymore because no one can afford it.
