You didn"t see them having one last year too.How'd that work out for you? I think he is right, AU doesnt have Johnson, without him the barn loses at least 3 more games last year. They do have Donny Osmond back at QB but without a running game, same ole thing. Barners better hope that 4 star RB wonderboy from north alabama comes out of the shoot fast or it could be a long year on the plains for the 7 mil dollar man. You're entitled to your opinion.Win total won't rest on a freshman rb shoulders.Last I checked it takes 22 to field a team.What you see in your crimson crystal ball surely shows us struggling to win any games at all.Wouldn't want it any other way.And you wonder why we enjoy beating you? Taking Johnson out of the equation last year would have had a tremendous impact on the barns W/L record. If you cant see that, you’re a bigger homer than Burbank or Tigger Ive never wondered why “WE” enjoy beating “YOU”. The “WE” enjoys beating bama because 1) Only happens every couple years (Law of averages) 2) Its all the “WE” has. If the “WE” had won 5 of the last 9 National Championships, you’d have so much more to enjoy. When you’re in the playoffs every year, winning or losing to the state rival wouldn’t mean as much. However, when you’re just a average, a middle of the road, also-ran team, beating the rival is all you got. So to that, congrats on beating Bama, the “WE” had a totally successful season according the the “WE” standards.

The "what ifs" of who played last year are irrelevant.The man's statement was in regard to the upcoming season.Can you see that? Some of you bammers can't take the thought of an Auburn man enjoying the fact that we beat you.There's never any real discussion on here because y'all have the same reply, all the time-"well we won the national championship" Yep you beat Bama. But what did it accomplish? SEC West Champions and bragging rights for year. Knock yourself out and enjoy it because that's really all the majority of you barners expect every season. And if you want to discuss it do the math and tell me how often AU averages a ten win season. Then I can tell you Bama's had ten in a row. And then the Aub's on here will reply, saban is short, Bama players drive Dodge Chargers and Daniel White is going to whoop Phil's ass. It goes both ways Bull64.

Taking a key player out of the equation for any team usually reflects on W/L record, genius Pcamper. That is exactly my point mr. Tig, The “WE” will not have the one big time player this year to be the difference maker when they need it. Translates to 2-3 additional loses.
