Hope it’s not the case but on every club I have ever checked on when they say no one is hunting it, someone is. Then if only a couple turkey hunt, well that means 5-10 people.

Hope it’s not the case but on every club I have ever checked on when they say no one is hunting it, someone is. Then if only a couple turkey hunt, well that means 5-10 people. This. Easy way to find out, just tell the members you are selling exclusive turkey rights since nobody hunted last year and see if your phone rings.

We sold one membership last year, so yes someone did hunt it. Seriously not trying to lead anyone wrong. Nothing like showing up to turkey hunt and there are footprints everywhere. People are not good at hiding there presence. And there is no way to find out till you show up.

I usually found out at the camp area - drive into what should have been a deserted camping area only to find out two campers were full of folks. Not sure what it was, but seemed like I never got the complete truth about the turkey hunting on any of the leases I joined.
