Which ones do y'all use/like and how much seed/fertilizer does yours hold? Receiver mount or other?

We have the Moultrie. It holds about 50 lbs of whatever. We've had it for over five years and have replaced the motor once. If the motor ever goes out, replace it with a $20 feeder motor from Academy.

I like a pull type. Mine holds around 300 to 350 pounds

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Do you lose a lot of seed with pull type bouncing?

No. I bought one of the Abby spreaders from walnut ms. It worked like a charm. Now if you open it while stopped it will be more concentrated untill you reach speed. It is wide, stable and stainless spinner. Plastic hopper. Kind of pricey but we'll worth it in my opinion

I personally prefer a mounted spreader due to having to go over some rough terrain. I've had one turn over before. I use the cabela's brand. It holds about 75lbs.

The big, heavy duty pull-types are the best. Expect to spend $700-$1,000 though.

I've got a moultrie that mounts on a trailer hitch, hold about 100lbs of seed, runs it power from truck or UTV battery. And it's got a lid so seed doesn't bounce out.

If it turned over the wheel base wasn't wide enough

We just purchased a pull behind that we can use with the four wheeler or the JD Gator, 300 or maybe 350 pound metal hopper with a 2 inch ball hitch for $625.

If there is any interest, we have a three point hitch tractor spreader for sale, 250/300 pound capacity you can pm me. We will price it right. It was used by us this year in preparing the deer fields and works great. We just wanted one that did not tie up a tractor.

Be kind to one another and tell the ones you love that you love them often. We never know what tomorrow will bring.

Same. Works for now.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I think mine came from Sportsman's Guide, holds about 60 pounds of seed and when it tears up I'll get another one just like it.
