I don't understand some hunters objection to using gamecheck? I get the frustration with it not working. Always worked for me but I get it. It supposed to help with the numbers, so why wouldn't a hunter participate.
I guess I look at it different because of Snapper Check, the feds are closing down seasons due to numbers they come up with, and snapper check shows a different set of numbers.
It takes a couple minutes of your time so why can't we just do it? Yea,just bend over,this will only take a couple minuets. My objections have nothing to do with how long it takes ,or the level of inconvenience. this^^^^
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I dont use it its just a racket to make money. You have to fill out your license before you leave the woods then 48 hours to report and if one or the other isnt done you get a ticket. I just throw my filled out license away and put a new one in my wallet you can print as many as you want when you buy. If they really need the info they could check with the local processors to get a good idea. None of this stuff even came up until they got their budget cut a few years ago. What the Hell???? I bet your the type fella that will throw deer guts off a bridge into a creek!!

Elaborate. Naw,I argued it enough last year. Suffice it to say that I do not think GC has the first thing to do with helping the State estimate the herd size,and that it is my opinion that regulation only leads to more regulation. I heard today that only about 35% of hunters reported their kills last year. How do you get that number without already knowing the number of kills without the reporting?

I'm about to Re,re,re,reinstall the app.
If it crashes I'll take a screen shot and send it.
However, it's always the same dialogue box.
It says "pocket ranger has stopped" then gives me an option to wait or quit.
If I select wait, I get the same pop-up again. My only option is to select stop, r quit.

I installed the app again last night. I've used the maps this morning. So far so good. It's painfully slow, but I'm hoping that's because I have a weak signal in this location.

Not arguing for or against it. But I would assume they came up with the 35% number based on license records and not a number of kills.... Atleast, that would be the logical thing to do.

I don't understand no space after address? it ends .com If you are referring to my comment. What happened to me when entering my email address was that my phone presented my address to select when I started typing so I selected it. But it put an extra space after the .com so the app gave me an invalid email address error.
