I've dropped about 4 lbs.
Took the wife to Outback for her birthday last night but didn't go nuts - steak, salad, cup of soup and just a few of the Blooming Onion petals instead of a 4th of the dang thing.
Really I could have been full with soup and salad.

We are 1/12th of the way done. Who has quit already? I haven't. I went to a party last night and didn't even have a drink. That was tough.

I'm down 11.2 pounds so far and haven't weighed today yet. I started last Saturday morning so this mornings weigh in will be a week. Enjoying it so far and feel really motivated again to do it so it will be easy to stick with it for a while.
A diet is nothing more than being stubborn and eating what is good for you, not necessarily what you want. One off day can set you back days on a diet. I had some large grilled chicken salads this week in the places of fried chicken and fries which helps tremendously, didn't stop at the store and get a sun drop and a biscuit for breakfast either which was probably a main contributor. Unsweet tea or water to drink all week after some black coffee early at work.. Going to be at the ball fields off and on all day today for a doubleheader and then allstar tryouts.

I've dropped 7.5 lbs since last Saturday. Stopped drinking half and half tea.
Cut out sweets, though I had two small bites of a peanut butter pie, 6 meatball appetizers, and some buffalo chicken dip on blue tortillas, as we visited with new friends. I thought I would enjoy it, but actually felt bloated and miserable after eating it. Weight went back up, the next morning.

I'm not in the challenge but taking motivation. I'm down 3.3 lbs in a week, but I'm headed to Nola tomorrow for a few days and that'll wipe that out. I might just stick to raw oysters, beer and coffee while I'm down there. Maybe it'll get me through.
