Oven roasted chicken with root vegetables, fresh, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, butter and olive oil, served with a field greens salad, toasted pecans, fresh strawberries, garbanzo beans, crazins, and feta cheese.

Looks delicious! Wife did a chicken in the crockpot yesterday for chicken spaghetti she's making today. Cooked it on low several hours with bell pepper, celery, and onion. Reserved the broth off of it as well. It's hard to beat some good yard bird.

Irish, my old lady roasts a chicken at least once a week. Root veggies, potatoes or sweet potatoes in the roasting pan kick it up a bit. Its really good but we have it so often, I am guilty of being burnt out on it.
