Hope I didn't come across wrong. Just didn't want you to get in trouble. I have lots of tripods out and they don't get turned over by hogs. The t-posts tied to the legs work.

Now a cow can still crash it! LOL

Yep, and if you can afford it, solar powered electric fencing has provided the best results for me while not reducing deer entry as much. Use 3 strands, 1 at 8 inches of the ground 1 at 16 inches and 1 at 24 inches. The circle around your feeder does not have to be very large.

Cattle panels work well too.

Dr.B ..... Wait before you give out any medals.... lol... just joking, however, I started doing some research on relocating feral hogs in Georgia and found that nothing was done wrong.... The hogs the guys caught were taken to their club and released into a 4 acre pen.... and according to the Georgia hunting regulations its all good.

So TC gets the gold... lol

later

Nah, he still gets the silver. grin

All because it's legal, doesn't make it sensible or the right thing to do. We'll just have to be on opposite ends of the table on this topic, which is cool. cool

Just post all hog kills and run that number up into 4 digits!

Glad you won't transport anymore hogs and I am not sorry to say this but I hope your friend (if he's transporting hogs) gets caught transporting hogs and is punished to fullest extent of the law. He's either ignorant or just doesn't care about wildlife, the environment nor his neighbors/adjoining landowners.

And BTW... if you have hogs, call DA MAN!!! Mr Elkhunter himself!!!!!!! Ethical, hardworking, nice, shoot-ya-straight kinda guy. AND A HAWG KILLA!

EDIT: Released in a pen, huh? Well... ok... hmmm.... as you can tell... I own a tractor and I am a food plotter and I HATE hogs. My apologies for my comments about your friends. I'm am glad he's NOT transporting hogs to open lands and they were released IN A PEN. wink
