I have two, works very well. I don't want something extremely heavy on my light weight rifle. Have you ever noticed the weight as more than a traditional sling?

R. H. I use these Butler Creek Mountain Slings, none lighter, they are nylon with a gripper patch on the inside to prevent slippage off the shoulder. Price is right too. If I'm in a stand that has a gun rest of some sort I take my sling off sometimes, this thing takes up little space. http://www.butler-creek.com/products/mountain_slings.html

The only thing that attracts me more to the Slogan is how it goes from a front carry into a standing supported position. I'm thinking the 6lb rifle will need all the help it can get for quick standing shots. Probably wind up getting both.

It was the thick rubber stuff with slots but it was narrow. Good looking sling. What is it with all these big, wide slings that should be on a .50 cal? Got no use for something like that. I want something narrow and light that won't slip, simple. I think this was the one that got my attention at BPS. http://www.quakeinc.com/Store-View.php?large=1&id=647#p
