Did you have to drill all the way through it for the wires? Not on the floor lamp, bit not long enough ( thats what she said)Drilled as far as I could from each end. There is about 14 -16 inches of wire pulled tight and super glued on the back side. Table lamp yes all the way through. This is on I did a few years ago.

Nice lamp. Just a suggestion. You might consider drilling holes in several sheds or old antlers and screw them into the cedar post. I personally think it would look great. Not sure if I like the antler coming out of the top of the lamp shade. Just my preference, but either way, great work and nice lamp.
