4,500 acres on Conecuh River- Bullock County. The Conecuh River Hunting Club still has a few spots for the coming season. Openings due to recent addition of 1,000 acres "next door" with another 500 acres of hardwood bottom on it. $2,500 dues. No cost camper site with all utilities and hook ups available. Property is in South Bullock and 15 minutes from either Union Springs or Troy. 15 year history on same property. Ample wildlife. Good terrain. * 4 miles frontage on Conecuh River (both sides). 1500 acres of hardwood bottom * Private, local land owner-long term relationship * 3,000 acres various phases of pines, mixed woods and cut over, almost all "huntable" * Only 17 total members. Reasonable, yet strict guest policy. Great ratio of land to hunter * ALL members subject to reasonable hunting limitations as to # of days in a row to keep pressure down. * 9 locked gates, so ample ways to enter/exit property without disturbing other hunters. * Mature buck harvest only. 3 max bucks per MEMBERSHIP. * Limited special exceptions for first buck, young hunters * "Grown" family members are considered guests. * Great turkey herd. 35 green fields Good road system Family friendly Contact Scott, club president @ phone/text 334-695-6465

Can you expound on what is considered "too many days in a row"?

I guess it works out great for people who live down the road from the property. In my opinion, a rule like that is still useless without the proper membership. I can see a poor hunter doing more damage in two days on the property than a person doing the right things could do if he hunted for two weeks straight. Either way, guys like me that only have three or four consecutive weeks to hunt in a season (due to working and fighting wars overseas) will be automatically ruled out in a club like that I would never hunt that hard anyway (because I would need to sleep in at some point) but if I wanted to take two straight weeks and stay at the lease, folks would assume I was hunting/riding around everyday and removed from the club. Your club, your rules, but when I see a list of rules that take more than two minutes to read, I get wary. What ever happened to getting the right group of guys and having a set of rules that read
1. Obey the law 2. Be safe, be courteous, have fun, and never drink the last beer.
It does sound like a great place though. Good luck getting your two guys and good luck this season.

Disclaimer, it sounds like this club is very good and I am in no way bashing it. Also, I understand that the majority on here believe that you can't have simple rules, so no need to point it out. My apologies to the club and the club prez if I came off as bashing the club, that was not my intentions. I had every intention of joining this club, but due to that rule, I will not be able to. Again, good luck fellas and look forward to seeing some dead deer from ya come October.
Tight lines, straight bullets, and bow legged women to ya.
