He will be fine. My main concern would have been the airway. My corgi got bit on the neck and had a hard time breathing until the vet got the cortisone in him.

I always heard old timers say when you had a snake bit dog that you needed to feed it bacon grease. Pour it over bread. Don't know what that does but I've always heard that.

Quick update for y'all. Its been 5 or 6 days since the dog was bit now and from yesterday to this morning was like night and day. The swelling has literally disappeared overnight! He is now playing with the other dogs and getting back to his old self. Hopefully he will be like new in another day or two. Thanks again for all the concern and well wishes.
