I sneak out to let him try to coax him in. As soon as I get out of seeing distance a hen walks out. I go thru one of our fields and bump 2 hens. The gobbler hammers about 20 more times but ends up moving off on neighbors land. At least we heard one!

He is roosting on the edge of a cutover on public land where there is no afternoon hunting. Saw him yesterday morning at around 8:00 with 2 hens in the pouring down rain about 100 yards from the truck. I wish I had never found this one!

HOYT 09 4 point H Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 695 Corner,AL	I took off work this morning and smashed one guys he has two beards one was a 9" and the other was 6" he weighed 20 lbs had 1" spurs going back in the morning my birds are finally ready had three others come in this morning after I killed the first one.
