Hey guys I have dibs on a 1165 acre contiguous tract near Goldville. Year round rights. Great turkey hunting and quality genetics in the deer herd. This piece was not leased or hunted(legally)last year. Property is gated. Three established food plot locales from two years ago all over an acre in size and multiple other possibilities. Multiple creek access points/camping spots for the non hunting season months on Enitachopco creek. It is timber company land with three different age class stands. 2 year old clear cut(has not been replanted yet), 7-8 year old pines and 17-18 year old pines thinned and of course your CMZ's. I have three including myself already and I have possibles from a couple of others. I am looking for 6 total members at 1500 each and would consider less members for more cash if others are interested. Final rules are up for discussion and vote with the exception of family friendly and mature animal harvest only (exceptions made for those who have never killed). We are going to manage the property for healthy deer and turkey herds. I personally will be bow hunting the majority of the time and one of the currently included members will basically be Turkey only. I may need three more or none depending on some offers already on the table. I would need the money fairly quickly. The lease is due June 1 and I want to get some food/minerals in the ground soon. Too much to cover here and this is long enough already. So if you are seriously interested PM me your number and I will be happy to call you and discuss.

There used to be some good deer up there and plenty of turkeys. I haven't hunted it in about ten years but I use to hunt hog mountain which is probably close to the land.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Turkeys are there no question and the genetics are awesome on the deer. Definitely an under the radar area for quality deer. I have personally put my hands on deer that have came off of this property three years ago. I am just not sure on the overall deer numbers. However, the plans are to fix that if they are low by laying off the does and giving them plenty to eat. Might even borrow some from the neighbors. wink

Is this land close to the Clay/Tallapoosa line or more towards Tallapoosa?

I caught wind that the timber company would be back in to final cut the 17-18 year old pines within the next year/half. So, I have decided not to lease the property. It would leave too much barren ground for the next few years for it to be worth what I wanted to do with it. I am looking for something else so you guys that I have talked to if I find something else I will let you know and please do the same if you guys find something and need someone.

Just joined Creek Hunting Club. We are looking for a few more members as well if anyone is interested. www.creekhuntingclub.com The Facebook page is a little more up to date. There are more plots than are listed on the website. I have already enjoyed myself there and haven't even hunted yet. Jimmy Stephens is the contact but I would be glad to provide as much info as possible if anyone is interested in knowing more.
