No, not if you bend at the waist to make the angle. If you drop your bow arm to make the angle you will shoot high. Also true yardage vs actual yardage comes into play. When shooting down at a target, the yardage you would need to use is less than the actual measured distance. The difference increases as the angle increases. That's where having a rangefinder with the angle compensation feature comes into play. I have one and at normal hunting heights, 20 to 25', the most it has ever compensated is 3 yards.
