Ordered an Elite Energy 32 from Grabows.

Been a long time since I've bought a new bow, even longer since I've had a dual cam bow. What kind of setup and tuning should I have them do to it when it arrives.

Any rest or stabilizer recommendations?

What waiting period did they give ???? I order a lefty on February 21 and was told 4 to 6 weeks 5 weeks ago now and was told 4 to 6 more weeks last Friday ..!!!

No one had exactly what I wanted, and I figured that there was plenty of time before season.

I order an Energy 32 set at 65 draw wt and 29 length full realtree xtra camo but I love the snow camo look ... I think it would work up in a tree with the sky line background ... I've always shot mid range bows so I'm excited to have top end hunting bow ...

I'm gonna have a rest and peep sight put on mine and have him set center shot then I'll put on the rest of my goodies ... I'm either gonna use QAD or ATX RECON rest both are over 100 bucks , ATX is 150

It's not a dual cam bow, it's a binary cam system. A dual cam has two split buss cables with one end hooked to the cam and the other end anchored to the limb. A binary cam system has two control cables. The cams are hooked or "slaved" together. A hybrid cam system has one control cable and a split buss cable.

Congrats on your bow. I'm really liking the looks and feel of the Elites.

Welcome to the elite bandwagon. I'm a step behind you with the answer but I love it.

You may be surprised at how big that bandwagon will be before long. They're probably the sweetest shooting bow I've ever shot.

I shot the energy 32 and the Hoyt spider side-by-side and the Elite won !

The new kids on the block could give the big boys a run for their money if they will all have good customer service. New Breed, Elite and Strother blow the competition out if the water to me right now.

I love my Genetix and customer service is great! I haven't had any issues with my new bow but if I did, all I'd have to do is call Kyle and go get it taken care of by the New Breed man himself.

Elite is supposedly the same way. I can't say that much for Strother.

Elite are telling customers 4 to 6 weeks and it's really taking 8 to 10 weeks on an order ... I ordered one thinking 6 weeks but not so .. This concerns me about their customer service ....

Their customer service has always been one of their biggest assets. I have never heard a bad thing about them from anyone. Sometimes where you order the bow has a lot to do with when you get it. Was the order immediately placed or did they hang on to it for a while? You will never know the real truth about that.

I order from Van's in cullman ... He called his rep and put him on speaker phone and we gave him the details .. He told me 4 to 6 weeks but most likely 4 ..

I'm a lefty that's why I post the topic dexterity discrimination ... I think that's the hold up ... They don't WANTA break production for the right hand bows to make a few leftys ...

Could be. I don't know much bout ordering lefty bows. I really didn't notice that you said lefty. I hope you get it soon. I will say that if there is a bow worth waiting a while for it would be an Elite.

Any recommendations on rest, stabilizer, peep, loop, arrows etc..?
Do I need a silencer?

What should I expect them to do on initial setup?
