I believe we just saw something similar to this in the news........that guy is looking at serious jail time for shooting into the vehicle full of teenagers playing loud music because when confronted them he thought he saw a weapon.......

I think you did the right thing, but like stated earlier, I would have handled it different. If you want someone to be courteous, approach them with courtesy.

Hey guys, you mind turnin your music down? Lots of kids out here.

But I agree 100% with your motive.

Just my .02.

if their playing profanity in front of my kids, I will not be courteous. but sitiuations like that, I leave the gun in the car its only a liabilty, besides you got a better chance of running out of range than you do quick drawing on someone sitting in a car with a gun.

If I saw someone approaching my car with their hand under their shirt that would not be a good decision on their part if they seemed even remotely aggressive.......

It was at your Wal Mart. thumbup

I don't arm myself to be the aggressor. Truth is , I'd have done the same thing if I'd been unarmed. It may not have been the wisest thing to do , but I can't stand someone being that disrespectful. If I hadn't have said something , what's to stop them next time. Maybe this one kid , just this one time , realized he should have been a little courteous.

Then again , he could have busted a cap in my arse. Either way , I'd do it again.

I carry concealed. I assure you him or no one else knew I had my hand on a gun. I'm intelligent enough to know not to be brandishing a firearm. As I said I got his attention way before I got to his car. I did not appear aggressive in any way.
I take that back. Im 6'3 300lbs, shaved head and goatee. I probably looked aggressive , but I did what I did and I'd do it again.

That's great to know. Haven't heard about that one. Like I said. I'd never EVER pull my weapon unless my life was in danger.

That's a very good question. I guess I'd have crossed that bridge when I got to it. I never said it was the intelligent thing to do. People need to have the guts to stand up for what they believe in. That's why we are very quickly becoming a minority. Democrats will stick together no matter what. Even if they can't stand one another. Let one of us get into it with them. You'll be fighting them all. Go ahead and throw the racist card out there. I'm speaking the truth. Nothing racist. Just the truth.

In hindsight , I may have handled it a little differently. But you can bet your arse I'd still say something. It wasn't gospel music. I think that's what set me off. It was absolute filth. If you could have seen the looks on all the peoples faces as they drove up , I'd like to think most of you would have said something.
