I got my 1st pair in 1981. I practically wore them out to the point I had holes in the big toe area on both boots. Most comfortable pair of hunting boots I've ever had. I didn't know about the lifetime warranty until I got my 2nd pair 3 years ago. They were special ordered too due to me wearing a size 15 1/2. I walk quieter in them than I do any other boot. Best boot for your money, just saying.
I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern

I have a pair of the the bison leather 10" and have had them for one year. The leather has separated from the rubber on the heel and is steadily working the lacing loose around to the front. I'll give them a call today to see what they may do about it. My previous pair lasted almost 12 years.

I have the 10" dark leather ones! I wear them daily! The soles are only good for about 2 years but you box em up send em back and they come back brand new! Can't beat that!

I wear the tall ones. Best boots I ever found for slipping around. Keep them greased and they repel water pretty good.

Yep, I still have the "Maine Hunting Boot" in the tallest size they make (18 inches, maybe?), going on 12 or so years now. These are the dark brown ones and I still use them quite a bit. best leather boots ever! I had the 12 inch boots. Only problem was crossing creeks. Wet feet are no fun! Dr. B

I'm wearing the 12" bean boots now, warm & comfortable. I've had for about 5 years & only hunt with them so I don't know how well they would hold up for work but I really like them for a hunting boot.

I found a brand new pair in my size at my buddies store today. I haven't taken them off since I got them. Forgot how comfortable they are.

All he's ever paid was the shipping. One pair they don't even make anymore, I think it's the light tan with the blue rubber in the 12" height.
