 Had a flying squirrel in a dp this morning! How odd is that??? Who knew flying squirrels liked marsh mellows and fish!.... Other than that it was a frustrating morning! Had 3 thrown sets this morning and had to pull all my traps. Guess I'll be back after them next week. Good catch T-town!

Good luck Matt!.. I done for the weekend except a couple live traps! I painted all my dp's last night and hopefully I'll have them and my steel traps all back out Monday!
So far:
1 red fox
1 gray fox
3 possums
13 coons (+1 released)
And 1 flying squirrel!

Just finished setting 18 dps and 2 live traps so hopefully I'll have some fresh meat tomorrow! And fresh pics!.... Picked up another dozen steel traps that I've gotta get boiled then I'm going to dip them in Full metal jacket before setting. If the weather holds out and my new lure and bait come in I'm gonna try to get some steel in the ground tomorrow and Friday!

I went back and looked at it Charlie! I usually keep my double sets far enough apart that one coon can't trip both sets but had one of these in the trough buried up in feed and the other was on the opposite end of the trough on the ground! Go figure! I'll get his buddies tonight hopefully.
First night out with the painted traps and had 2 of my 3 catches in the white ones! If I begin to see a pattern I'll be painting more traps!

Didn't have anything today! Guess the coons were waiting out the cold weather! With warmer temps tonight and not much movement the past 2 nights I'm looking for a good catch in the morning!
My order from f&t didn't come in today so I'm still waiting on it to get my steel traps out!
