There is a really bright light in the southwestern(from my location) sky tonight. I am between Boaz and Attalla and it is pretty low to the horizon. It seems to be several miles away and way brighter than any star I have seen. It is not low enough to be attached to the ground or on a tower or anything though. About 5 or 10 degrees above the horizon. It appears to be stationary in the sky. Anyone have any idea what it is? Satellite? Comet? Weather ballon?

Venus, aka The Evening Star

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
