I have a question.

If it is illegal to possess the deer is it illegal to process those young tender back straps for a dutch oven or do you discard it in the woods.

I'm sure the "Dutch oven" thing would be a terrible idea.

In spearfishing jargon, that's known as "fillet and release".

The dogs that done this neither one standing up would their head even come to your knee. Made me think how easy it is for a coyote to kill them. Even foxes. The biggest one of thes dogs might be as big as a fox.

No couldn't tell them. My little girl was soooo happy she helped save a deer I couldn't make myself tell her. I told them when I got up this morning it's mom was at the edge of the woods and I went and let it go before she left.

That deer counts as a slick. Your dog still gets three more bucks and as many meat slicks as he can chomp. And tell him to use a pencil on his form.
