I've tried lots of boots. I've settled on gear guide 15" side zip. Waterproof, breathable, and comfortable. I've had Rockies, lacrosse, Irish setters. I'm on my2nd pair and they are on their 5 th year

Depends, are they more for walking/stalking, early season stand hunting, or stand hunting in very cold temps?

A good liner sock and a good merino wool sock will greatly reduce wet and cold feet. Be sure to read the ingredients on the sock wrapper also and get ones that are at least 80% merino wool

I wear my old Danner Pronghorns all the time. If you have sweaty feet try spraying them down with an anti-perspirant before you put your socks on. Your feet will not be as cold either. No matter what I hunt in I spray with unscented or use a stick. I even use it when not hunting. Overuse will cause my feet to crack but one application helps for several days. You will not believed the difference. I hunt in 1000 gram Columbia rubber or 1500 gram lacrosse.

I have a pair of Under Armour slip on boots that I love. They aren't as hot as Mucks and my feet don't sweat as bad.

Dream Season for early season and Muck boots for colder weather. I will say the 1st pair of Dream Season I bought lasted a lot longer than this pair.
NOW is the time for all GOOD men to come to the aid of their country.

I bought a pair of "Nevados" from The Sportsmans Guide that are made of neoprene. They wear better than any pair of boots I have ever worn in my life. I put wool liners in them when the weather starts to cool, and then I go to Muck Boots Arctic Sport when it is frigid. Works good for me.
I can't stand a thief.

Check out superlite.com for the lightest and comfortable rubber boots available. A lot like crocs material. Only used them 2 years but already got my money's worth. Still in good shape.

I have some of these too and they were awesome for the first 3 years, but the beginning of the 4th year the sole separated from the bottom...I don't think they make them anymore as of last year when I tried to find some more to replace mine. Best lightweight rubber boot I've ever come across.

Timberland PRO Men’s Endurance is one of the best boots on the market . Nicely designed, with durable features such as a safety-toe, non-slip rubber outer sole, plus, anti-fatigue technology make these boots stand up to just about anything. Not only are they comfortable and great for those with back and knee problems, the 8” shaft offers substantial support for your ankles. However, I would suggest selecting half a size larger than your average shoe size, as they tend to run small

I won't ever buy anything except danner when it comes to slip on boots. Rockys are crap nowadays. Rockys have been crap for a long time.

I do some cheap Academy rubber:neoprene boots when the temps are above 70* and Muck Woody Max when it's colder. No matter the boot or temp, I do knee high thin synthetic blend socks. I always take the boots off immediately after the hunt and don't put them back on til I'm headed back to the stand. I've found this is the best combo of dry (sweat and rain/creeks), scent free, warmth footwear for my type of hunting.

My daughter bought me a pair of Cabela's lace up like the L.L.Bean boot. They are the 60's throw back they offered for a limited time. I love them.

I purchased a pair of Danner Snake boots in Jan of 2015. They lasted about 7 months. I sent them back and Danner sent me a new pair. I started using them last Feb. They lasted until Oct.
I purchased a pair of Irish Setter snake boots this Jan. So far, they are awesome. My feet are staying dry.
I am not bashing Danner. I hunted around 100 days in each pair of my Danners. That is probably years worth for most folks. They were constantly getting wet every weekend. I am hard on boots.

This is not a lace up, but in my opinion, the best hunting boot made. I've been dealing with hunting boots for over 25 years. The KAMIK boot by Gen Boot company is similar to the Muck, but built a lot better with no glued on soles. Made in the USA and sell for $89.95. Don't know who Dennis Wilborn is, but he is speaking the truth!!!

I got my first pair a couple of years ago and really like how they wore. Found them on sale last year for $59.99 and bought another pair. After wearing mine my son bought a pair of them and threw his Mucks in the trash.

I bought some schnees last year, and wish I had done it a lot sooner. They're pricey, but worth it in my opinion. I walk a lot in deer season, sometimes up to a mile one way. My feet didn't get cold one time which was a first for me.
