There seems to be new hog businesses popping up all around. And in a way it makes me feel good that they are all taking shots at us.

Let me describe our business and the equipment we use. First the business.

We are incorporated, we carry $2 million in liability insurance that covers us and the landowners we serve. We also have Life Flight insurance that covers us and all our customers. We pray we never have to use either, but if something happens, we want to be prepared to get the injured person to a medical facilty as fast as possible.

We use DPMS AR rifles in 308 caliber shooting Remington Hog Hammer 168 grain bullets. Folks, these bullets are truly hammers. I have killed many pigs with rifles ranging from 223s to 308s. There is a difference in the firepower of 308s.

We use thermal optics not night vision. Our scopes range in price from $8,000 to $13,500. Many businesses claim they are using thermal but they are not. Night vision will work, but thermal optics are far superior. When you can ride around with us and see even the smallest of animals at long distances and see great detail, you will understand the difference.

You don't have to wear our optics on your head all night. Ours are mounted on the rifles. We provide each hunter with a Primos tripod shooting system to prop on. This steadies the hunter and makes things much safer.

We guide our clients on farm land and large wooded properties. The hunting is very different on each of these. But, both can provide some high body counts.

We hunt from our Polaris EV and our Bad Boy Buggy Ambush. Both are sweet. Sometimes pigs are shot right from the buggy.

We don't provide lodging. When you hunt from dark to daylight, there isn't much need in a place to sleep. When we do have hunters book multiple nights, we ask them to get a hotel. There has been no complaints so far. After shooting pigs all night, they are dead tired anyway.

We have properties in several counties and move around from week to week always picking the hottest place at that time.

We also offer day hunts using spot and stalk as the method of hunting. This has been very successful and more affordable. The hunters bring their own gear. And we can charge much less for these hunts.

But, hunting is only half of what we do. We also trap. We use the most effective trapping equipment on the market. We are the Alabama dealer for Jager Pro products including their night vision, thermal optics, and trapping equipment.

Their MINE trapping system is excellent and geared to catch the entire sounder at once. This is important if your goal is to truly reduce your hog population.

We have made a tremendous investment in starting this business and our goal is to serve Alabama landowners honestly and professionally. We truly want to kill every pig on their property. I know that sounds crazy, but it isn't. If we do a great job for Farmer Brown he will tell every farmer he knows. And thus we continue to serve.

Our customers are a huge part of this business. We couldn't do what we do without their business. We appreciate each and every one of them. We have 4 thermal optics at this time, but as business increases so will the number of optics. We will have 2 more soon so that Bart and I will each be able to guide 3 at a time.

If you have questions, please feel free to ask.

X2. I've hunted with barry several times and he's never failed to put me on hogs. He does whatever it takes to get the job done! Sometimes he does it to well and you spend way to much time at the skinning shed smile

I just moved here from AZ. and unless you are drawn in the lottery you dont get to hunt anything all year except rabbits and squirrels. No deer, elk, pronghorn, turkey, pigs, nothing. After 12 years of not getting drawn to hunt I decided to get out and try to live where the DNR is not so badly run that the hunter is the game animal being managed. I am now just starting to do my searching for how I am going to be able to hunt this year in my new life in the South. I dont have alot of years left in me to hunt but what I do have I hope HE gives me some more time to do it in here

Thanks glenncnp. I am soooooo happy to be here. You would have to have lived in Southern AZ to know how I feel. I am really looking forward to getting to know my Southern brothers better.

Thanks Sharpshooter69 real glad to be here. Just found me a hunting club to hunt with this season, got my Trekker snake boots coming from Cabela's along with a new sure-shot camo stock for my Rem 1100. I got 4 pb pushers I want to try out on hogs this year. Reports have it that some hogs have been spotted about a mile away from our hunting property, and working there way in our direction.
Rem 1100 w/3x9 Luep, 18"slug barrel Barnes copper sabot slugs.
Ruger #1 trop. Leup 1.5x6 in 450/400 N.E. 3"
Ruger #1 Med. Leup 1.5x6 in 9.3x74R and last for now,
Marlin XLR Stainless Leup 3x9 in 45/70.
Will keep all posted on how they do and any pics on the converted.
