Exactly. When the pain hits you are going to sh!t somewhere. It might be in a toilet, the woods, or your pants but you are going to sh!t.

I've heard that from everyone that has told me they had theirs removed, but that has not been a side effect of having mine removed. Suits me just fine. The only "sense of urgency" I had was a couple weeks ago, after eating a lunch that included 3 garden fresh Cayenne peppers. About an hour later, I was in the head.

Had mine removed, no problem. My problem came in the fact that the doctor fixed a hernia at the same time. The hernia repair hurt for a few days.

My wife just had hers removed two weeks ago today. Other than the normal "post surgery" stuff, it was a very simple procedure. You will be fine!

I had mine removed in July. I went home the day of surgery. I had horrible "gas" pains in my chest. I could only lay a certain way all night. I couldn't raise up without feeling like I would pass out or puke. I decided to call the Dr. the next day, but woke up feeling better and no longer light headed. By that afternoon, symptoms got worse. I soon had the most horrible nausea of my life. I couldn't raise up without passing out. To make a long story short, I spent 3 days in ICU and a week in hospital because I almost bled to death. My case was certainly not the norm, but I would err on the side of caution and not wait if things don't seem right afterward.

Had mine out 5 years ago at the age of 32. I had problems with my gall bladder going back to high school, but they weren't diagnosed properly till I was 30. Tried medications but they finally quit working. I was having HORRIBLE migrane headaches everytime I ate and it took a ton of tests to finally narrow it down to my gall bladder.

Mine was taken out on a Thursday and I was back at work (I'm a dentist) on the following Monday. Didn't even take any narcotic pain medication. I haven't had to change my diet and have not had any bathroom problems.

I wish I had known what the problem was when I was young and had it taken out then. I instantly felt 1000 times better.

Wife and 80 year old mother had theirs done couple years ago. no problems at all for either of them then or now. no bathroom differences either. Actually my wife had hers one week and flew with me and traveled state of Massachusetts on my job the next week. Added one day for sightseeing on the tail end with no issues.

I had mine taken out about 8 years ago. I had lost down to 145lbs. My surgery was on Fri. and went to work on Sun. But then again my wife says I'm not right so... But it did take a few months before I could tell a difference and I still had to watch what I eat for while.
I'm good now and eat anything I want. That's why I'm at 200 lbs.
