If it works I will go see how many toy cars and dove decoys I can tear up.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Love it! Friggin awesome. Can you go through the build step by step? I'd like to try to build one, because like you, just to say I did. I've got a mojo as well but think this would be cool. And I have a gazillion motentroll cars around the house. And driveby, seems all the doves I shoot at suddenly start flying backwards.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

Oh I feel better now. I thought it was a decoy that flew around or something. You could've been smart like me and bought a mojo dove at Walmart in February when they marked them down to 20 bucks. +1...and we didn't have to do no redneck engineering. Wurrrrd! I know a couple of haters when I see 'em. Thats aight! I also bought a Mojo and decided I could build one, just because I could. It wasn't to save a buck, just to do it. I watched walmart for about 2 months and they never got below 28 buck around here. Its good to see a few folks that know when to give a little credit to a brother. Mote n troll is where its at. Thats cutting edge stuff there. Once I figure out how to make this thing move around in the field, yall are really gonna be mad. Now who wants to post up these lousy photos I have. LOL!!!!! I have "a friend" from Thach that has a duck decoy mounted on top of a remote control boat from Wal-Mart. Not me mind you......but a friend.

As far as the step by step, it wasn't bad.
1) I found a cheap remote control car with an axle that was about as wide as my dove decoy or a little wider. Dollar general sells a red camaro that cost $6.50. 2) Grabbed one of my hard plastic dove decoys that came from wal mart...like $2 each. 3) Cut the breast area out out of the decoy about the same size as the battery pack. Got lucky and did this right the first time. The battery pack on this one is wired for 6 volts. You could just wire it to a 6 volt battery. 4) Disassemble to car and leave all of the electronics wired together. Motor and axle will disconnect from the plastic floor by removing 2 screws. 5) Place motor inside decoy and mark where to drill holes for the axles. 6) Drill holes and hot glue motor in place 7) From there I just have to figure out a place to mount the electronic board. I glued mine in place towards the tail end of the motor location. I cut out a notch next to the battery pack for the switch. You can see it in the photos. Pushed the antenna underneath the clip out the outside and pointed it downward. 8) after I got everything mounted in place put some batteries in and test it. Then glue in the battery pack. 9) Make a trip to lowes and buy a couple of crush pins. Basically its a small tubular piece with a cut longways. I just test various sizes until I found one that slid over the axle fairly snug. I wanted the to stick out about 1" from the side. Hot glue them on. 10) cut some wings out of corrugated sign material. make them as symmetrical as possible so it does wobble. 11) Slide the wings on the end of the axle. Might help to wet the axle a little to help it slide on. Grab the axle and the wing and push them together or you might break the motor loose. I guess you could push the pins into the wings then glue them on the axle.
A hot glue gun was the ticket since it dries fast and is very solid. Thats the basics of mine. Well dang, that sounds much more difficult than I was imagining. Thinking about just painting one of my boys' remote control cars gray and rigging up some of those wings now.
