You can learn more in a day when snow is on the ground than you can in a whole year of scouting. Yep. I'm headed to the mountain tomorrow to put down some tracks of my own. CD.

Snow up north in North America is one thing. Snow in Alabama is another.
Snow in Alabama scares them and makes them take cover from my experience. I used to think it would be easy to hunt them in the snow. NOT!!! way its been for me . best way i know to hunt it is to find a spot where i can cover a lot of ground and hope .

I usually don't get to hunt, when it snows, I get to WORK instead.
But, I have had a couple of opportunities, to hunt with a light dusting of snow, over the years, and I agree the deer in Bama don't understand it. It is not a good time for still hunting. It's a great time for stalk hunting. You can kick 'em up, track 'em and see 'em forever. Plus you'll gain more scouting knowledge, in one day, than you can get in an average year.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.
