I'm not excited, but the prices on these were much better than local prices. Saw a can of Federals (325) in a local shop the other day for $49.99. That's what I paid for the 1000 rounds of Winchester. Just glad to have some plinking ammo.

At $24 for a brick, I would have to say I disagree with that statement. It might be "overpriced" per say, but I will bet my bottom dollar right now that we will never again see the days of $10 bricks of .22lr. Unless a man has a monstrous stash of .22's, he's a dummy for not buying available $25 bricks right now.

But it wasnt too long ago that same brick was $13.99. I doubt manufactur costs have gone up, just demand. But hey, Capitalism at its finest.

Unless a man has a monstrous stash of .22's, he's a dummy for not buying available $25 bricks right now. Why? If people would quit paying $25/brick (much less $50+/brick), they'd get back to "normal" pricing. Walmart still sells them for $18-19 for 525 "bricks" when they get them. Regardless of what many people think, they're not going to quit making them. As long as people are caught up in panic buying mode, they won't come back down everywhere, though.

Feel free to go stand at any Wal-mart you choose, for days on end, to save $10.....maybe....assuming you run across some. I like shooting too much and my time is worth a hell of a lot more money than that. I'll buy every brick you've got for $25 each so you can go replace them with $19 Wal-mart bricks if you would like. Just tell me where to send the money please and how many you have.

I don't wait in line for ammo. I'm not part of the panic driven hysteria. I'm just sitting back and laughing at all who are.

Zero. Next question please. Let's see. You don't stand in line for ammo, Wal-mart don't have any, your basis for price comparison is Wal-mart, and available bricks online for $23.99 are overpriced. The main questions I can determine from all of that is are 1. You either have plenty and have no business being in this conversation and are just being a jackass....so the question is....why are you on this thread? or 2. You need/want ammo yet you're too big of a dummy to realize what kind of corner you've painted yourself into with your reasoning. So what is your plan to procure some? Gonna reload?

But hey, Capitalism at its finest. Exactly how I feel. I've still got bricks laying around that were $12, but the older my kids get and the more my wife gets into shooting as well....I will buy all of the $24 bricks I can get my hands on too. If they come back down to $12, I'll buy some of them and shoot em too. I refuse to pay $50, but I honestly believe that $20+ is where the prices are gonna land going forward when the hysteria subsides unfortunately.

Just ordered from Cabela's. In stock for $23.99. With shipping, total was $29.94. That's about $.06/per rd which isn't bad these days. Just got an email that says mine is now on back order. I hate that stuff.

So, I'm either a jackass or a dummy? My guess is jackass....but only in a small scope...like within the context of this thread. Otherwise, I'm sure you're a swell chap.

If telling the TRUTH is being a jackass, then I guess I'll go with "jackass". What part of my post did you particularly find to be inaccurate or offensive?
