Add another potential scandal to the growing list. The Nixon-style targeting with the IRS is most troubling IMO, however.

So the president has an Attorney General -- the nation's 'top cop' -- who has participated in and approved (likely) the Fast & Furious gun scandal, and now has been involved with obtaining numerous telephone records of the news media in search of a leak, or so the theory goes, without knowledge of the persons or news organizations and without a warrant or any reason given. "Just because" isn't good enough, and neither is "national security" whenever the mood strikes.


And now, this latest layer in the scandal pie:

"FoxNews.com and other news organizations reported that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has been reaching out to private-sector executives seeking donations for nonprofit organizations that help enroll people in ObamaCare.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee has already launched a probe into the solicitations. Republicans on the committee voiced concern that the department could be soliciting donations from firms that are also doing business with HHS. "

I watched that worm Carney squirm and try and stick to the talking points, but the liberal reporters are pissed about being spied on. They were actually grilling him hard for a change.

Wonder how much he gets paid to go out and lie day after day for the Prez and Co. ? Don't see how anyone could do it. It might be getting a little tougher next few days, I hope they keep turning up the heat.

They were also targeting Christian groups. No surprise.

Along with the reporter wiretap scandal this IRS scandal
would have resulted in the impeachment and/or resignation
of any prior president. It will be interesting to see if
Obama survives this.

So, the Attorney General - the nation's 'top cop' - knows something's going on but recuses himself from the investigation. That's not even plausible deniability because a subordinate didn't tell you. That's giving approval to a buncha crap, closing your eyes and putting your hands over your ears while chanting "la la la la la" so you can say you weren't involved.

as I said before, this is impeachement material. It
is 10,000 times bigger and more serious than Watergate.
It is a blatant attack on the First Amendment rights
of not just millions of people but in fact the majority
of people in this country. Ironically, most liberals who
claim to be civil libertarians are trying to justify what
the IRS did, which just goes to prove beyond a shadow of
a doubt what we already knew: liberals and "progressives"
only believe in free speech for themselves. They do not
tolerate any contrary speech/views/opinions/activities.
