My mossberg 935 is not tapped for a scope mount,I have seen the b square mounts but really don't like the way it looks on the gun,are there any other mounts I could use or am I gonna have to drill and tap it

I was thinking that 935's were factory tapped for some reason????

I would have thought so too,Mine is 9 years old, I'm sure all of the newer guns are,I'm wanting to put an open red dot sight on it but don't want to have to drill and tap if I don't have to.

Everyone I have ever seen has been tapped on the top for a dovetail mount. I'd just pay and have it done if that is what I wanted.

Well worth the money IMO... I don't like the BSquare mounts.

I'd prolly have it drilled and tapped. I've had the saddle mounts the only advantage to em alot of em have a gap where you can shoot your bead in case of a dot failure.
