As bad as I hate it I'm thinking about going with it.
I've got the Wi-Fi Verizon service at home now, but it's on 3g more than 4g nowadays (I'm not certain what's changed but it's just too slow for the $ we are paying.
The speeds we are getting are generally slower than 1g when on 3g. 4g is very fast, but it's flaky. On top of that the A/C port on it broke last night so it's useless now.
Thus, I'm looking at Wild Blue. Reviews? Anyone have it?

I don't have personal experience with it, but I have heard some very good things about it. Had a guy tell me it was faster than anything he had ever had.

I can't find many good reviews for it.

Yea they have upgraded their hardware. My daughter can't get any internet where she lives. Might be worth looking into now. Maybe somebody on here has it now.

If you get spotty 4g inside, how is the signal outside? Maybe an external booster could keep you locked into the 4g signal. I'm fortunate to always have a strong 4g signal in my house. Edit: they do exist. Plenty more than this found thru google. http://www.alternativewireless.com/cellu...l-boosters.html http://www.amazon.com/External-magnetic-Antenna-adapter-Novatel/dp/B006SKO09S

I have had Wild Blue for oh six or eight years now. Only big problem is when it gets really cloudy it goes out. Daughter just five hundred yards from me has Hughs Net and she is happy with it. Glad I got on this because I was thinking about going with Verizon just for a change. But not now. Will keep wild blue.
I am drinking from my saucer cause my cup has overflowed. Thank you Lord

My sister in law had it for a while. Back in March while staying with her we found that it was pitifully slow. I had a 9600 baud modem that was faster. I hope they upgraded something otherwise you might as well just throw your folding money into a hurricane.
