Have you ever wondered why most of the TV hunters advertise all the scent lock stuff and never cover thier face at all? No net, no scent lock mask. Most of the time just a sponsors baseball cap? Also, what about the Mosquitoes? If I dont have the thermacell stuck in my ear, it is like waves of dive bombers attacking my face.......and I have a mask on. Just wondering what your thoughts are? thanks

Faces on TV are important for expressions, viewers seeing the eyes, etc. Just the way they do it.

Specially Tiff's.........

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Most of those facial shots are staged before/after any shot. Talked with a hunting show tv guy a couple years ago while pheasant hunting in ks and he said "from time he woke me (saying shooter shooter) to the time i pulled the trigger was about 15 seconds". They just fill the other 3 min and 45 seconds of hunting "footage" with pre/post shot stuff. As you know the other 26 minutes is commercials! smirk

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Everyone does it differently. Filler shots are part of the process for everyone, no matter what. Some take that to extremes. Others try to use as much actual footage as possible.

Those shots...called cut aways, are used to establish the hunt and generally people take their masks off to do it....as not only for recognition purposes but also because speaking thru the mask causes slight audio distortion. Any audio distortion is an editing nightmare. clean audio is super important.
