I had it happen once. I called them up and explained what happened. Then i told them i was going to just cut that section out and weld in a new one. That lady bout had a heart attack! She said do not do that and whats your shipping address. I had a new stand 3 days later with a return shipping label for the cracked one. Summit customer service is top notch!!

If I leave mine on a tree, it's tipped "up" so much I don't see anywhere water could ever get it in?
