Busted my ass yesterday. 1 mile run in the morning with Mrs. Irish, then big deadlift day in the home gym, followed by mixing concrete in a wheelbarrow for 5 hours and pouring ground beams for the end walls of my new motorcycle storage. I was worn slap out. A man ain't supposed to work this hard in retirement. Fortunately for me Mrs. Irish is a pretty damn good cook too and she did not disappoint. I chilled on the back deck with some music and a few Micheladas, my favorite summer cocktail, while she made us every man's favorite... Hamburger steaks with mushroom and onion gravy, served with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes, skins and all with real cream and butter.
