Cornbread to me is like biscuits, why do 99% of people just do buttermilk, cornmeal and an egg?
Biscuits is shortening, milk, flour. So plain. I always add heavy seasoning, cracklings, cheese, peppers, etc. when I make cornbread.
Plain cornbread and plain biscuits are bland to me.
I like to mix it up myself.
Everything woke turns to shit
