My 11 year old son will hunt with me a good bit more this year than in the past. We will use 15 ft double ladder stands. My questions: 1. what is the cheapest camo that you have seen to put around the ladder stands? 2. Does anyone use the portable roofs and if so, has anyone tried to use camo from roof to shooting rails, maybe with a tie up system? thanks for your thoughts.

I have used that black silt fence material that you see at construction sites. It can be painted with latex paint,
some brown and some green for example. Attach to your
stand with sippy ties. Add fresh cut pine limbs, the pine smell
may also help concel your odor.

walmart has the camo burlap pretty cheap. if you do the roof, cutstrips of burlap and tie them from the stand to the top.

It is what it is.

Inspect what you Expect.

Hunting TN, AL, KY, and IL.

We started hanging moss around our stands which seemed to work well.

Like Broken Arrow says, i believe in the fresh cut pine limbs hanging on my stand. They are plentiful, and give natural appearance. The scent cover is just a built in bonus. On most of my stands i hang them right over hte walmart burlap that is mentioned above also. That stuff stinks though, so you better put it out long before you put it on your stand. I have had mine airing out in a pine tree for a month now.

They make a covering with a roof and sides to go around a ladder stand. I have 2 and they work wonderfully.

Found it.

I like it beer belly. Is it open on the bottom? It looks like everything but your head should be hidden when sitting, right?
