I think there’s a high chance they would. The mother points everything. Started at 8 weeks old pointing. I’ve never hunted with her but she definitely has the instincts.

Can you speak to the temperament of the dogs? I’ve always heard Irish Setters were wild and super energetic. Any truth to that?

The mother is very energetic but manageable. She does mind well. She loves all the attention. She’s very gentle. I don’t own the dad to the pups but what I’ve been around him, he is very smart and minds his owner well. The pups have been handled daily by my 2 and 5 year old. They already love people.

Pups are 6 weeks old today. They can go anytime. Eating dry food, been wormed, and first rounds of shots.
