I heard they were shot within 10 minutes of the time they were let off of the trailer. I expect only good things and even bigger deer to come from the "Big Buck Project".

Also that is not Marengo County...I know that terrain, that is Deatsville right across from the post office...and that guy, is my friends next door neighbors, cousins, uncle from his step mothers side...he was hunting over a clorox stump, and he used a bass pro hangar attractant...lured'em in like he was on a string...

Yeah I've got the pics. I took a picture of both of them as they walked by stand. Babe Winkelman and his Minnesota wife took them both.
I was waiting on better genetics.

I think it is legit, the way he is holding his hands makes it look smaller than it really is.

Doesn't look like he's holding it out in front of him, so the spread may be legit. I say every bit of 3 feet.

How did they get them deer to pose like that. That must be some of them mutated deer from the science department at Auburn. Funny, they can teach Boone and Crocket bucks to lay on a trailer but they can't teach 3 years of top 5 recruiting classes to beat Ole Miss.

I tried to DVR "Biggest Loser" but my TV keeps recording Florida Gator football games.

Easy. Same thing that makes you lay in bed at night. Doe Feet and Touch and Go games. They're all just "waiting their turn".

So, if that was in Blount County, it must be Ricky Cleveland's place.

May be. It's real close to the line, one side or the other.

OMG!!! Huge bucks!!! Free Range? I'm impressed!! (I highly doubt the nontypical is FR) Enclosure? Yawn... I mean I would shoot both bucks in an enclosure as I'm not against enclosures but I just could not be as excited about any enclosure buck as I would be a FR buck. That's just me.

He went to tejas a few years ago and killed a huge buck that cost him 15K, way more money than he knows what to do with.

I think Ricky took over Thunder Mountain (Gary Robins operation) a few years ago and is now the only major High Fence operation in Blount County. He has several properties in Blount County where he raises deer.

He doesn't have his place at thunder mountain any more. He bought a place at hoods crossroads and high fenced it.
