Might be something you’re interested in. There’s a 4000 acre tract up for lease just east of evergreen. For the low low price of $48,000, you can get that lease. Heard from someone "in the know", that they were asking $60K plus for it before the season opened.

Might be something you’re interested in. There’s a 4000 acre tract up for lease just east of evergreen. For the low low price of $48,000, you can get that lease. Heard from someone "in the know", that they were asking $60K plus for it before the season opened. 20 members at $2200/yr, sounds ok to me. That works out to 200 acres per hunter if everyone showed up. Obviously, you'd need some extra $$$ above the lease for seed, fertilizer, etc.

This property is 20 minutes from me. I have been in contact with the lease company, they are willing to present a reasonable offer to the landowner for consideration to secure the property this year. The lease holder will have first right of refusal for the 2025-2026 season. My concern is when this property first hit the website it was listed at 69K if I recall. I asked if the current list price would be in the ballpark of what the 25-26 lease would cost and they could not provide that information. I have considered trying to get a group together to secure the lease but decided I do not want the headache. In my opinion anything above 10-12 members will be a huge pain in the butt!! I say this from personal experience as being the club president of a property similar in acreage.

^^ So called experts hav come out and said - need small group of like minded guys for successful club with good deer herd management - the more guys - the more difficult
