I got drawn for the 1/16 rifle hunt and was wondering if any of yall have hunted it before. I’ll be there for the scout day and plan to leave a couple cameras out.

You will see signs that we only dream of.. Haha! This will be my 2nd SOA hunt. I hunted Uchee in 2017. I got drawn for Cedar in 2021 and my buddy killed a nice buck. I hope this is my year 😊

My place is about 3 miles west of the Uchee Creek SOA. I have seen bucks chasing in December before but January 10-20 is the best time to be in the woods. If the weather cooperates y’all should be hitting it right on the money. 👍🏽 awesome.

There’s a nice air bnb with a fishing pond right north of unit 1&2 entrance. Several of us aldeer members chipped in and rented it a few years ago. Way more convenient than doing a hotel. I rented an air bnb for our stay. It’s a tiny home about 15 minutes from the SOA
