My bro in law didn't think I could even drag it across the ground. 8x5 house. Gonna put some legs under it while I got it up. 4x4 work or should I go 6x6.

wow, are those trees used in the frame? I think 4x4's would be just fine if you're not going too high

I'm just gonna put it about 3-4 ft high. Yea. That's my bro in laws redneck engineering. It's made of trees and scrape wood.

Heck, just leave it on the loader. You can raise it or lower it and move it to a new location. Seriously, 4x4s would work at that height. You will probably need some bracing at 45s from each leg.

Does the brother in law have as much trouble driving
a nail as he does framing a door?

Seriously,4X4's will work fine, and the house will be great for it's purpose.I just wouldn't let him build a barn or house for me.

Talk about driving nails. These are at the corners. I had to take some screws and put in them. Lol

I would not waste 4x4's on that.

My 7 year old builds better than that. I see homeless people living in nicer shelters they make out of crap they find on the road. Anyone who calls himself a redneck should be ashamed if he can't use a nail and hammer.

them screw nails don't drive good in dried oak lumber. I have a couple like this i have made over the years the only cost was labor and chinsaw gas, I just built them where i needed them at.

I think the sheer weight of that thing would drive 4x4's in the ground like tent stakes.....

Complete the rustic motif and cut some oak logs the right length to sit it on. Keep that sucker low on the loader or you might turn yo tractor over.

Also built the roof where rain will runn off front. But I ain't complaining. It was free. I may just pile up 3-4 ft mound of dirt and set it up on it.

I think it would mesh much better sitting on a mound of cow shucks.
